Perfect May Weather Makes Great Key West Fishing

Its been all about the inshore fishing this week for my Key West Fishing report.

Key West Tarpon Fishing

Key West Tarpon Fishing

Tarpon in the harbor still thick as thieves. The palolo worms hatched over the weekend making the tarpon fishing bite in Key West a little slow during the day but non the less each boat had it’s fish and it’s shots as seen here in this photo of Capt. Kyle Kelso releasing a nice fish in the harbor. Special mention to one of the Parasail Captains in Key West for taking the photos – Capt. Steele La Donde. Nice shots I think taken with and Iphone.

The flats have been a buzz with permit and bonefish. Maquesas trips are decent but it is very busy out there with many mother ship operations dropping off wanna be puffy chested flats fishing guides and boats that really don’t know the area all that well but are willing to cut you off for their little piece of what they think is theirs. After June 5th we will have the marquesas all to our selves again along with the regular Key West fishing guides that frequent that area as well. ahhh the peace…

Bonefish, permit and tarpon. Its that time of the year.. Time to get your game on and get down here to do some serious Key West flats fishing.  We currently have some days open in our schedule.

I am opening my days a little more for tide oriented fishing charters with me on my flats skiff and Yellowfin flats boat for anyone that wants to fish with the old guy here at Dream Catcher Charters. I think it’s time for me to get back on the water a bit more.

Call my office and see about scheduling a trip with me or one of the boys here at Dream Catcher Charters and lets get out there to show you a great day on the water.. 1-888-362-3474.
