Summer Tarpon Still Strong In Key West

The tarpon are still here in Key West.

Here at Dream Catcher Charters the tarpon fishing has not slowed down for our anglers fishing out of Key West every day on our boats. If anything it has gotten better with tarpon being caught early in the morning while it is still tolerable out.

Traditionally tarpon fishing goes right into August and sometimes as late as early October with the larger fish. The baby tarpon fishing we are so famous for is great in the fall months.

Currently we are done with the last full moon. The tides are much more manageable and the tarpon are responding well to crabs, fly and live pin fish.

To get out there all you have to do is call our offices and see what we have available for you to get out there on. Our schedule is not light but we do have some openings.

Stay cool and come see us.. our forecast looks awesome for the next two weeks.
