This Guy Is Super Excited About the 2016 Key West Tarpon Season..

April 11th 2016 – Parts of the midwest are getting blankets of snow and we are jumping some spring tarpon. The weather is perfect here in Key West and the tarpon fishing is getting more consistent as the weeks walk on toward the inevitable spawn.

Windy start to this week but it looks like the barometer is going to drop and offer us some tropical weather and turn the fish we have here around Key West into over drive. We are inundated with loads of tarpon in the harbor, channels and in the backcountry but the winds are being a little bit of a nuisance with the high pressure. The tarpon are being a little bit fickle but we are still getting our anglers into them over the last weekend.

A light schedule this week is pretty normal with a good number of fishing charters but we still have some openings for some great backcountry fishing fun for tarpon, barracudas, sharks, jacks and some bonefish are starting to trickle in and get up in the shallows..

Give us a call if we can help you with a Key West fishing charter of any kind..
We are happy to personally help.
