January Tarpon Fishing Report (yes its a thing)

Tarpon Jumping Tarpon season is full of image opportunities like this.

January 4th 2017 – Warmer conditions have prevailed making the Key West tarpon fishing spark up, at least for now. Our anglers fishing with us here in Key West Tarpon Fishing have been experiencing a pretty damn good tarpon line up. We have been seeing tarpon where we normally do in all of our spring time haunts. They have been eating live baits and artificial lures such as the Hogy Lures.

What a treat having tarpon here in the beginning of January. But.. all good things must come to an end. The weather this comping weekend looks like it will push the tarpon out and finally give us the winter blast we need to correct the fishing calendar here in Key West.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning all look good.. Sunday not so much..
