Finally Sun Wear that makes sense..

I have been wearing head covers since the 90’s guiding here in Key West. Anything to keep the sun off my head and from getting sun burnt. The early “socks’ were exactly that – Socks. Large tube socks with holes cut out for my mouth and nose. Very ineffective, uncomfortable and hot not to mention always fogged up my glasses and stank to high heaven after a lovely day of sweat.

Saved by the new head covers. The sun isn’t getting any cooler in the summer but products keep getting better and this meant the head covers too. Made of the new wicking material they were a godsend.. Then they started making shirts out of this stuff. Very cool.. But what about that part of my neck that gets fried. Between my head cover and my shirt. Just above my collar. This was always an issue so I added another piece to my daily wear fishing the flats here in Key West a bandana. Now this was a bit much but it worked.
