December Tarpon – A Chance

November 30th. 2014 – The winter of 2014 seems to come in like a lion. Our waters temps have plummeted and the winter species showed up a month early which means the tarpon have left the building. There are some resident baby tarpon around but difficult to get them to feed and they are really small…

That said.. If the winds come out of the South East and warm us up a tick or two. There is always a chance a group of Gulf tarpon may come in to feed. This is something we here at Dream Catcher Charters are seasoned to look for. After guiding for tarpon for over 20 years I can pretty much put my nose in the wind and tell you if there is a chance.. or not..

Book your day with us.. If we think there is a chance… We will certainly look for them and we are always ready.

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and Have a Merry Christmas….
