Tarpon Fishing Report

Fishing For Tarpon in Key West March 15th

Tarpon FishingMarch 15th 2017 – Colder conditions have blanketed Key West with air temps in the mid 60s and High winds from the NW and NE.. Colder day tomorrow with lows in the low 60s and I imagine the water temps will follow at that point.

The tarpon fishing report is this.. The tarpon fishing has been pretty good the last few days since the full moon. We have had lots of tarpon moving through some of our more secluded areas and have been able to set up on them even with the stronger winds. This being Wednesday and day one of the cold front we still did well this morning on the tarpon but I imagine the bite will be tougher as the conditions get cooler.

To be sure.. I think the recovery of the bite will be on Monday or Tuesday March 20 or 21 and will be solid by Wednesday March 22.  if anyone is looking to book at day of tarpon fishing with us and have a chance. I will say here  that tarpon fishing season is officially ON!
