Bad Weather Makes The Good Days Even Better.

Capt. Steven Lamp Key West Veteran Fishing Guide

Boy has it been a bumpy weekend and start to the first week in May. Not only has it been raining allot but windy too. We have had many trips opt out of going this week do to the inclement weather but thats the way it goes. We really don’t want people going out that don’t want to be there. Our policy is that if it looks like a marginal day (rain, windy, cold) we leave it up to our clients to go or not to go with no cost at all and a chance to reschedule if possible.

This has definitely been one of those weeks. I think its a record me wearing a fowl weather jacket on my drive to work now for 5 days straight.

BUT it gets better.. !!!!

Looking at the computer models for next week (another very busy week for us here) Starting Sunday its flat calm and 20% chance of rain.. So, get ready. Tie your flies, re spool your reels, and change your oil on the motors cause by Sunday ITS GAME ON!!!!!

To see about our schedule and getting on one of the fishing trips here in Key West Call my office and speak to Radar or Island Genn. 1-888-362-3474
