February 9th 2020 – Winter has arrived here in Key West but seriously it’s not super cold yet or does it look like it will get that way. Our backcountry water temps have been holding up there keeping from dipping into the low 60’s like it typically does this time of the year typically making tarpon fishing tough or non existent.

Tarpon Fishing Report

We have caught a few tarpon fishing Key West in the last couple weeks. Around the Easterly and South Easterly winds with warmer days and on the right tide. Im not saying that if you book a fishing charterr with us that we will put you on a great day of tarpon fishing next week – however.. We know where they live when they are here and eating and IF your day has that opportunity, we will certainly explore it with you to make sure our anglers get their shot.
