March 2nd 2015 – Well its official. The first week of March and we are in the tarpon pretty much every trip. NO.. that does not mean we are catching tarpon every trip – its still called fishing.. It does mean however that you will have shots and get to cast to them.

In the last few days about 12 tarpon have been boated and about 50 jumped off since the last cold front here at Dream Catcher Charters. I know that sounds like allot but we are talking about a span of over 50 fishing charters. We are slammed with trips here at Dream Catchers. Yes we will book a tarpon fishing trip starting this week.

Tarpon fishing season runs from now through July here in Key West. Tarpon are a very popular fish we fish for here in Key West and many anglers come from all over the world to catch one. Tarpon range in size from 20 – 150 lbs here in Key West and offer extended battles that make a fun fishing charter for our anglers..
